Stopping the chocolate!

Six weeks ago I worked with one of my coaching clients with regards to her compulsion with chocolate. This lovely client of mine has always loved chocolate and has been eating 2 bars a day of the devilishly dark stuff – despite promising herself she would give it up as it was making her feel sick! Well, this morning I have had an email off her and I am pleased to announce that she has not touched chocolate since her last coaching session. She is feeling fabulous and does not even want it any more. She said that she is feeling in control of the chocolate and has swapped her chocolate craving to fruit. Well done sweetie – this is superb. Remember if you really feel like you need something sweet then swap the chocolate for a piece of fruit – for that natural sugar high. You will save yourself hundreds of calories and equally not pile on the pounds. My coaching client has also reported that in the last 6 weeks she has lost over half a stone, by stopping eating chocolate and by power walking in the evenings. Whilst coaching my client, she came to realise she was mainly eating chocolate because she was bored. She decided if she replaced her boredom with an activity then she would stop reaching for the chocolate and also get fit and hopefully lose weight. Well it’s working and it’s going fabulously well.
