Improving your health and wellbeing

Morning gorgeous how are you?

This is a longish message this morning but if you are serious about improving your health and wellbeing then it’s definitely a good must read to remind you of how to step up your health and wellbeing❤️

If you want to improve your health and wellbeing there are a few things to address in your lifestyle… such as your diet/ nutrition, daily exercise or walking, reducing your stress levels, increasing your water consumption, increasing your activities that fill you with joy and happiness, increasing the amount of time you spend with people that fill you with joy and increasing your time to reflect, meditate and have quiet time. ( not all easy to do I know! But all can be done over time. I know that part too! Lol)

So let’s look at our daily diet today. 😍

So firstly -what is your diet like? If you are putting a lot of junk into your body then you will feel like junk! And probably not look so hot too. So if you want to feel healthy and amazing then you need to address your diet now and start adding more of the super foods into your regime ASAP. Start by increasing your fruit and vegetables ( 5-10 different ones a day- preferably 10) so that you get a plethora of vitamins and minerals and antioxidants into your body for healing and nutritional benefits. By increasing your fruits and vegetables you will feel and see a significant change in your wellbeing. I recommend juicing your fruits and vegetables so that you can actually get a bigger variety into your diet daily -as let’s face it – who’s really going to eat up to 10 fruit and vegetables a day on a daily basis. Also raw fruits and vegetables means the vitamins won’t be depleted from cooking. By juicing every day I ensure I always get 10 different fruits and vegetables into my daily diet this has transformed my health and wellbeing over the last few years (MASSIVELY) and given me way more energy again too.

Also Currently I am re-reading a super book on superfoods at the moment ( Superfoods by Steven Pratt and Kathy Mathews) and this book suggests the following to have on a weekly or daily basis..

Beans

Blueberries

Broccoli

Oats

Oranges

Pumpkin

Wild salmon

Soy

Spinach

Tea

Tomatoes

Turkey

Walnuts

Natural yoghurt

Of course not all these foods are going to suit all of us especially if you have allergies or you are a veggie or vegan. However it’s definitely food for thought and a great book to read.

By increasing your diet daily massively with fruits and vegetables, incorporating  nuts, seeds and oats and then some good lean sources of protein and dairy or soya Into your diet you will be helping your body to flourish.  Also increase your water to 2-3 litres a day to really help your system flush through and feel great.

Reduce the white refined carbs, refined sugars and trans and saturated fats and salt and see and feel the changes happening.
