Excel or difficult?

What areas of your life do you excel in?
And what areas are more difficult for you?

The areas we excel in we tend to like to focus on because it’s comfortable and natural for us to be working on that area.
But the areas we really struggle on we need to focus on more so that we can start to get success in these areas too.

So what do you need to start working on today? And focusing on for the next few weeks? Months? Years?!!

The other week I pledged I would be focusing on my yoga and i would increase it back up to 3-4 times a week. And I would love to say that I have stuck to it but I haven’t!!! Yes I’m human too…

The first week I stuck to my pledge because I knew it would help with my back aches and it did- hurrah and my back ache went – but the second week i have only done it once because life has gotten in the way blah blah and my back aches had gone so the focus went out the window … No excuse and not good enough. I must focus …. ( my back and skeletal system gets very tight from all my exercise and I must enforce my yoga to stretch out my body!)

however my back ache is now creeping back and is a warning sign from my body that I need to get back to my yoga to stretch myself out more and to Carry on with my yoga practice. And so here I am again pledging that I will stick to my yoga. But I think the key thing i learn from this is immediate gratification (back ache gone) doesn’t mean we can give up as we have to think about the bigger picture.. this is something we all need to think about..

Keep reminding yourself and remembering the bigger picture and why you are doing anything that you are doing..

Write your goals down and remember them so you carry on… and remember immediate gratification is not enough!

Remember the bigger picture always!!
