What can you do to become more positive?

The power of thoughts is immense. Change your thoughts and you will change your life.
Try using the following techniques next time you have a negative thought such as I am ugly, I am fat, I am stupid etc:
THANK YOU :
Say “Thank you, but I am not listening to that today”
PARK THAT THOUGHT :
Or if you have an issue that is holding you back, like your weight, think food is not going to be my issue anymore and mentally drive that thought into the car park, and leave it there and forget where you parked. J
USE A SILLY VOICE :
Say “I’m ugly” in a silly voice and you will make yourself laugh and realise how silly you are being, and it will make you automatically feel better, putting you in a better frame of mind.
REFRAME YOUR THOUGHTS:
If you just lost your job, think “it is going to be okay, I have people who will support and help me until I find something else and now is the time to find a job that I really love. This is an exciting time to start fresh!”
ASK YOURSELF BETTER QUESTIONS
When you have negative thoughts in your head, a good way to change them is to ask yourself better questions. Refocus your thoughts by asking yourself positive questions.... Ask yourself :
- What do I love about myself?
- What can I be grateful for?
- What makes me smile?
- Who do I love and who loves me?
- What do I need to do today to have a fabulous day?
DAILY AFFIRMATIONS :
In the mirror, each morning say strong words towards yourself such as:
