POSITIVE LIVING CLUB HOPES TO RAISE £5,000 for
Breast Cancer Care
As most of you know, i set up The Positive Living Club for Women, to help inspire positive living and promote positivity throughout the community whilst raising money for Breast Cancer Care.
Having lost a close friend to breast cancer, we are now hoping to raise £5,000 by running my positive living sessions and organising local fundraising events. The money will be used to help fund Breast Cancer Care’s free services within the local area.
The Positive Living Club runs every first Saturday of the month from 10:00-11:15am at Cloisters Hall in Rickmansworth and each session covers a topic to help promote positive thinking and well-being. Our group has now also decided to organise fundraising events over the coming months to help reach our target – yippee.
We are now organising a Barbie Buffet in September, a sponsored walk dressed in Halloween costumes in October, and a charity ball in March. It’s a great way to have fun, meet new people and give something back so if you want to get involved then please contact me asap... we would love to have you by our side.
We are also looking for new recruits for our lovely Positive Living Club so contact me if you would like to be involved...
PLC sessions have covered the following topics so far:
- The power of positive thinking
- How to change negative thoughts to positive ones
- How to increase your self–esteem
The next session will take place on Saturday 6 th August, covering HOW TO BE MORE CONFIDENT, at Cloisters Hall in Rickmansworth at 10am for 1hr 15mins and then the first Saturday of every month.
